About 3 Color’s Treeing Walker Coonhounds
My journey with Treeing Walker Coonhounds started when I got my first coonhound from Jessica McRae as a pet and show prospect. What started as an interest in having a dog to enjoy and show grew into a much deeper appreciation for the breed and everything these dogs are capable of.
The more time I spent with Treeing Walkers, the more I fell in love with their combination of intelligence, drive, athleticism, and temperament. I wanted to be involved in preserving the qualities that make this breed special while producing dogs that can actually live up to the purpose they were bred for.

Our Treeing Walkers are selected for health, temperament, structure, and hunting ability. We show and compete with our dogs, but breeding always comes back to what the breed was meant to do.

Early Care and SocializationPuppies get neurological stimulation, structured socialization, and exposure to people, animals, sounds, and everyday life. Each pup is evaluated individually before going home.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does your reservation process work?
Our reservation process starts with submitting a puppy application. Once approved, you can join the waitlist with an $800 reservation deposit. Puppies are evaluated around 6 weeks for temperament and conformation before selections are made in waitlist order. The deposit is nonrefundable but can transfer to another puppy or future litter. Reservations do not guarantee a specific sex, color, puppy, litter size, or breeding outcome. Once selected, we’ll arrange your remaining balance and pickup details.
Can you meet me at the airport?
Yes, I can meet you at DFW, IAH, or Hobby Airport for puppy pickup. We’ll coordinate the airport, date, and time ahead of pickup to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Do you offer flight nanny services?
I do offer a flight nanny option for families who are unable to drive to pick up their puppy. The flight nanny fee is $400, plus the cost of the round-trip flight to your local airport and the $150 American Airlines in-cabin pet fee.
Can we visit and meet the parents?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to meet the parents, but I do not allow visitors on-site. This is for the safety and privacy of myself and my dogs, as well as to maintain strict biosecurity and protect puppies from potential exposure to illness. I’m happy to arrange for you to meet the parents off-site when possible. Puppy pickup can be arranged at a designated meeting location once your puppy is ready to go home.
